Ghanaian songstress, Joyce Blessing yesterday pulled up a massive surprise at Ashaiman municipal near Accra after she thrilled thousands of music lovers with Stonebwoy’s ‘Go higher’ song.
The gospel singer who was billed to perform at Stonebwoy’s Ashaiman to Da World Concert suddenly resorted to dancehall music as she was seen on stage performing the hit song word to word to entertain music fans. Though it was usual for her fans to see her perform dancehall music, the gospel diva jumped from one side of the stage to the other with full energy. Joyce Blessing who recently secured a four-year juicy deal from Zylofon Media appears to be mobilizing support for her fellow Zylofon artiste, Stonebwoy. The Ashaiman to Da World concert under the auspices of Zylofon Media for the first time saw Stonebwoy performs live together with his closest rival, Shatta Wale on same stage to make peace with each other.
The highly patronized concert which got people talking was mega and successful by all standards. However, it witnessed some pockets of violence with a failed knife attack on Stonebwoy and her wife, Louisa. The unidentified attackers who had planned knife attack on the Bhim Nation president could not achieve their evil intentions.
The knife men who stormed Stonebwoy’s camp succeeded in inflicting wounds on the artiste’s wife, Louisa through a tent. The concert brought together many Ghanaian singers including Kofi Kinaata, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Becca, Kelvin Boy, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win and fast-rising ‘One Corner’ hitmaker Patapaa.
