A 28-year-old man, Joe Francis has been stabbed to death by his friend at Domeabra in the Ga-South municipality of the Greater Accra region over a misunderstanding of a phone charger.

The sister of the deceased in an interview with Adom News confirmed the death of her brother and the circumstance under which he died and disclosed her brother’s friend as ‘Aso)den’.

According to her, the suspect, ‘Aso)den’ allegedly stabbed the victim after the two engaged in a fierce fight over the suspect’s missing charger.

She said the fight ensued between the two after Aso)den accused the victim, Joe, of stealing his phone charger.

The fight she said turned bloody after Aso)den pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the process.

“I always give them money and sometimes cook for them to come and together so I still cannot understand why Aso)den could not confide in me and tell me whatever was going on between them but decided to take my brother’s life”.

She said the victim suffered multiple wounds and died later after he was rushed to the hospital.

“He did not get anybody to take him to the hospital early but even though I am not rich, I would have done every possible to save my brother’s life”

She added that so far as she is concerned, she knows the charger is the only reason Aso)den killed his brother.

Furthermore, the crime officer for Amanfrom District DSP Seth Amani Ampong who confirmed the death of Joe Francis said the suspect is currently at large.

He said his outfit has commenced investigations into the matter.
