The donation was in response to a call by Mahama’s campaign team for support to pay the then GHC420,000 aspirants for the NDC’s presidential primary were to pay for nomination forms and filing fees.

Later it emerged that, though a staunch support of Mahama from his 2016 campaign, Tracey had made the donation in anticipation of an appointment from the former president should he get the nod to lead the country again.

In a report by, the actress was said to have expressed interest in a role in the creative arts industry if Mahama takes charge as president of Ghana. Since Tracey’s interest was made public, social media users have been chewing on it with many making fun of the actress.

For them, Tracey has made a wrong investment because Mahama was going lose the 2020 elections miserably and they listed very hilarious positions Tracey can get have if Mahama wins.
