Ace Broadcast Journalist and the Host of Abusua Nkommo, Kwame Adinkra has descended heavily on the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) describing the institution as the most useless and bogus state institution.
Ghanaians have recently complained about poor road network in the country which is affecting business activities especially farming activities in the rural areas.
About 80 percent of roads in the country have been classified as poor according to statistics.
Kwame Adinkra questioned the mandate of GHA for not fixing the major roads in the country.
“If I have the opportunity to collapse any public institution, Ghana Highway Authority will be the first institution. That institution is a useless institution and can be classified as causing financial loss to the state. All the roads in the country are in the deplorable state but Highway Authority is doing nothing about it” he said.
Kwame Adinkra urged the authorities of Ghana Highway to use the money they generate from numerous toll booths to fix major roads in the country, accusing them of causing unnecessary traffic at toll booth just to allow their family members to sell to drivers and passengers.
